We're a worker cooperative of software makers who want to build a better world.
We're the kind of people who argue about code architecture over coffee and get unreasonably excited about elegant solutions to messy problems. But we're also the kind who ask harder questions: Who does this software really serve? What defaults does it reinforce? How can we build something that empowers people instead of extracting value from them?
Our cooperative brings together developers, designers, and product strategists who've worked across many disciplines and time zones. We organize ourselves democratically because we believe the way you build things matters as much as what you build. Each of us wears many hats and collectively, we strive to bring about meaningful change, being better than we were yesterday.
I've been many things in over 15 working years—copywriter, product manager, team lead, developer—but always had the same question at the back of my mind: how can we harness technology for genuine good? I'm now helping build too Inconsistent while raising a tiny human, working toward a world where meaningful work and financial stability aren't mutually exclusive.
I discovered programming in my early 20s and have been working as a software developer ever since. I strive to craft software that’s thoughtful, joyful, and harmless. Outside of work, you’ll find me reading, tweaking coffee grind settings, or out for a run.
I'm a former CTO and engineering team lead. I've been coding for as long as I can remember, and have been passionate about organization design and self-management for a while. When I'm not coding away at night time, I'm likely doing woodworking, making music, or going on adventures with my son.
